Introduction
I absolutely love all flowers. They all give me a boost to my day, whatever their color. But in this post, I pay tribute to those which are in my opinion the happiest - the yellow ones. From daffodils: the first sign of spring to chrysanthemums the close to the season: yellow flowers by design grab your eye and power up your day. In Italy, sunflower fields line the roads, uniform rows of happy flowers, each with their huge heads turning in unison towards the sun. Now I have moved back to Colorado sunflowers once again line my path; this time rogue alpine sunflowers with multiple yellow heads turning in all directions, absolutely glorious in their wildness. Read along to see how these amazing flowers can guide us to happiness.

It is well known Queen Elizabeth II's favorite color was blue, but she also had a passion for yellow. I dedicate this day to her. I am thankful for to her devotion to service and inspired by her fulfilling her promise which she announced to the nation when she was only 21 years old: "I declare before you all that my whole life whether it be long or short shall be devoted to your service." - That service turned out to be a long one: 70 years 127 days. Thank you Your Majesty for a job well done.
